lyon

we've been in lyon a couple of days now. it sits at the bottom of a mountain and two rivers merge together in the middle of it. it's like a frenchified pittsburgh.

lyon is full of little corridors that connect streets and open up to sunlit courtyards. they were originally designed to transport silk around the city, but were later used by the resistance against the nazis.
