good morning bordeaux! how are ya? woot woot woot

I am now in Bordeaux! Internet isn't free to the rooms so i wasn't going to get any, but i was informed i have a growing audience just dying to here about my adventures. So i am acquiescing to my loyal fans, your life's can now go on! it does make my day though to know people are actual reading this and like to see what I'm up to. i basically feel like Edward R. Murrow or Ernie Pyle now!


before we left paris we went to the Musée d'Orsay. it was a train station before being converted to a museum.




its famous for having a large collection of impressionist pieces from artists like Monet, Degas and Renoir. (don't be misled into believing i'm a cultured and know anything about art!)

i saw some mary cassatt's and thought of you mom.



they had a whole room of van goh's.





i love this painting of a gypsy. she's just so sassy!



i also love love love all of degas' ballerinas!


monet liked sailboats too.




we stopped to get a caffeine boost has the restaurant in the museum. it had gorgeous windows that the sunlight was streaming through.


i promise i will make an update about what i've been up to in bordeaux later today, but i just wanted to make a quick post before anyone had major blog withdrawal symptoms.
