granitos de paz is the foundation we work with in Caratagena

they do a number of things for the community.

we went to a local elementary school they are involved in

in a technology lab sponsored by a cell phone company

they also run a daycare program that makes sure kids get proper nutrition and allows single mothers to work

then we met the children we'll be working with while we're here

they were so friendly and out going.

We played soccer with them in the street. so many of them were bare foot.

I learned how to say freckles in spanish "Pecas"

kids in the street loved getting their pictures taken

they chased us down to get them done
